The Covid-19 pandemic posed great challenges on a global scale, with the world facing a severe mask shortage right at the start of 2020. We assembled an R&D team specifically for masks manufacturing the first time in our history, utilizing all our years of technology and talent accumulation.
After 10 days of brainstorming, repeated testing and rapid prototyping, we successfully launched a cotton mask that can be washed and reused up to 30 times.
This not only met the needs of tens of thousands of our colleagues at the time, but also the communities in which we operate.
Our team developed automated mask production lines to increase productivity and output, in order to meet the market’s dearth in supply as swiftly as possible. Within a very tight period of time, we demonstrated remarkable technological capability and flexibility for going into a new market.
